Rangers knock Dortmund out of Europa League, Leon Balogun comes off the bench

Leon Balogun returned to action in a competitive game for the Rangers as the Scottish champions forced a 2-2 draw at home against Dortmund in the playoffs but go through 6-4 on aggregate.

Balogun was a second half substitute as he gradually makes his return to regular football action after a brief spell on the sidelines with an injury.
The 33 year-old helped The Gers shut out the visitors; he posted 3 blocks, 2 clearances, 1 interception and 3 tackles on the stats sheet.
Alongside the CB his Nigerian compatriots Calvin Bassey and Joe Aribo featured in the game. The latter duo played the entire duration to ensure Rangers march into the round of 16.
