As the new Scottish Premier League season approaches, Glasgow Rangers’ Coach Michael Beale has expressed unwavering belief in Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward, Cyril Dessers.

Dessers, 28, who recently joined Gers from Italian side US Cremonese after their relegation, has been earmarked as a key player for the upcoming campaign.

The Forward’s arrival at the club comes as a replacement for the departing Alfredo Morelos, and Beale is optimistic about the Nigerian having an impactful season.

In a recent statement, the coach emphasized Dessers’ potential to be a prolific goal scorer for Rangers, aiming to secure double-digit goals during the season.

“I think Dessers will be one of three or four players who can get us double figures in goals this season.

“If we’re a good team, we’ll share the goals. But Cyriel has come in, and he’s really fresh, energetic. We’re trying to get as many forwards as we can on the pitch,” he told PLZ.
