Ramon Azeez played only 51 minutes in Granada’s 4-2 road defeat against Real Madrid in La Liga on Saturday.

Azeez, who has had an impressive start to the season was named as a starter in his sixth appearance for El Graná.

Granada were second in the log behind Real Madrid going into the game, and they played second fiddle for the most part.

The hosts raced to a 2-0 lead in the first 45 minutes, through goals from the in-form Karim Benzema and summer buy Eden Hazard.

In the second-half, Luka Modric added a third before the visitors responded.

A penalty was awarded to Granada and Darwin Machis duly converted. The goal inspired the visitors and they soon added another to reduce the deficit to just one.

However, Madrid will have the last say and James Rodriguez snatched the last goal to wrap up the win for Los Blancos.
