Kano Pillars Midfielder Ikenna Hillary presented his club’s replica to Akwa United Technical Adviser Rafael Everton in Uyo shortly before their 3-0 defeat in one of the matchday of Nigeria Professional Football League encounter on Sunday.
Hillary had one of the best moments of his career playing under the Brazilian manager at FC Ifeayin Ubah before the pair left the Club.
Hillary had since moved on to the Sai Masu Gida and helped the Club to 4th position on log NPFL Group B, four points behind former side FC Ifeayin Ubah.
Everton on his part is having a good season with Akwa United, despite a slow start at the beginning of the season, The Promise Keepers now shared top position on the Group B log with El- Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.
It’s only a matter of time if the pair are to work together in the Nigeria Professional Football League again.
