Eberechi Eze and Ovie Ejaria registered assists for QPR and Reading respectively in their Championship clash on Tuesday at Loftus Road.
The game ended in a share of the spoils in a game where the Hoops would have felt they could have won after taking the lead twice.
However, the focus was on the two players of Nigerian heritage who had shone brighter, intensifying clamors for their call-up to the Super Eagles.
Eze had received the ball 35 yards from goal, leaving opponents in his wake, before finding Nakhi Wells.
Ovie Ejaria, would however, match Eze’s contribution two minutes later with a low ball that evaded the entire defense, which George Puscas dispatched.
Both men will hope to continue their fine form at the weekend when Ejaria faces Nottingham while Eze and the hoops host Brentford.
