Midfielder Raphael Onyedika recapped his first, though unofficial, game for the Super Eagles in the practice game against Algeria’s B team, and describes it as a “grateful opportunity.”
Onyedika started against the CHAN bound Algerian side, Friday, and the midfielder put in a good shift.
Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro will look to hand the 21 year-old his international debut, in Tuesday’s international friendly against Algeria in Oran.
The youngster described the pride he felt to wear the NT colors and how it was a dream come through for him and his family.
Onyedika never previously represented Nigeria at any youth level before his senior team invitation.
