Nigeria and Portugal will clash in an international friendly on November 17, the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed.

The Men’s NT of both countries will face off in a game that will serve for preparatory test for Portugal ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

A Seleção will host the game at the 50,000 capacity Estádio José Alvalade as they will finalize preparation for group H opponents Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea.

In it’s first game of the group stages on November 24, the former European champions will battle Ghana – Nigeria’s West African neighbors.

The Black Stars had accounted for Nigeria’s failure to pick a ticket for the tournament in Qatar.

Meanwhile, in September’s FIFA window, Algeria will host Nigeria on September 27 in Oran.
