Ike ThankGod has blamed the underwhelming performances of NPFL clubs in CAF inter-club competitions on the poorly run football system.
ThankGod, a former Enyimba players, also faulted the league’s calendar as another factor that affects the Clubs’ performances.
He also faulted the inconsistencies with the league’s calendar, which disrupts planning for the season.
‘These factors affect the poor performances of clubs representing the NPFL in CAF Competitions, because with irregular calendars how can teams prepare and compete?’
