Pinnick: We are focused on Libya tests

As the senior national team, the Super Eagles gear up for a double header with Libya next month in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has stated that the federation is focused on the task of qualifying from the group which includes South Africa and Seychelles.

He urged all football loving Nigerians to continue backing the team.

“The Super Eagles did well with a deserved 3-0 over Seychelles on Saturday,” the NFF supremo told Footballlive.ng.

“It’s the right step for us that we are back in reckoning to qualify for 2019 AFCON.”

“We at the NFF will ensure that the players and officials are well motivated to ensure that we pick positive results in the double header against Libya.”

“We are appealing to Nigerians to continue supporting the Super Eagles,” he concluded.
