Kano Pillars will replicate their first-leg, home form when they face Asante Kotoko in the reverse fixture of the CAF Champions League preliminary qualifying match this weekend according to club chief, Ahmed Tijani.
Pillars snatched a late winner in the 3-2 victory over the Porcupine in Kano, but were without some key players, who will be available for the second-leg.
Tijani told footballlive.ng that the team will be reinforced with goal scorers, who missed the first-leg over logistic problems.
“Some of our key players that were not in that match had issues of passport; our main strikers and a few players we invited did not have passports or it had expired by the time Caf asked us to register these players.
“They gave us a deadline before the passport came so the only thing here is, they were registered but will be available for the second leg,” Tijani said.
