Kano Pillars’ striker, Hassan Adamu is optimistic his side will pick up their first win of the season when they square up against Wikki Tourists in the NPFL, Sunday, at the Sanni Abacha Stadium.

Pillars have started the 2019/2020 NPFL season on a terrible note having managed just one point from a possible nine including home defeat to Lobi Stars.

Meanwhile, Wikki Tourist have been impressive with three wins from four games garnering a total of nine points thus far.

However, even as the Ibrahim Musa-led side is not convincing, the former Nasarawa United striker Adamu, is confident that Wikki Tourist will not escape defeat in Kano today.

“Our match against Wikki Tourists is a must-win. We respect them but we won’t allow anything to stand between us and our first victory.

“We are indeed missing our fans but we have to face the task before us. I am always ready to give my best performance.”
