Kano Pillars came close to winning the NPFL title last season, finishing as runners up behind Enyimba, but the new season can be different for the 4-time champions says Head Coach Ibrahim Musa.
Musa guided the team to the Aiteo Cup last season, ending the Club’s Cup hoodoo; as they they clinched their first ever FA Cup.
Looking ahead to the new season, Musa told footballlive.ng his personal objective is to end the team’s 5-year league title drought.
“By the grace of God I will defend my title with Kano Pillars. I will try to win now; the last year I came third, this year I came second next year, I have to win the league.”
