Aris sealed a second leg 1-0 win over Levadiakos in the Greek Cup round of 16 clash to complete a sweep.
The first leg ended 2-1 in favor of Aris and Wednesday’s result sealed their spot in the quarter-final.
In the midfield, Peter Etebo earned his place on Alan Pardew’s starting XI against Levadiakos – he missed the first leg though.
Etebo has been consistent for the team since returning to full fitness, and has become one of Pardew’s trusted Lieutenant.
Wednesday’s game was his first Cup appearance – though he had featured in 10 league games – and he was on for Eight-five minutes.
But, the 27 year-old could be back to help the team’s Cup aspirations in a difficult fixture against Olympiacos.
