Peseiro leads 20 Super Eagles Players in Training

The Super Eagles had their first training session on Tuesday as the team prepared for their first friendly match, against Saudi Arabia, in the international break.

Jose Peseiro led the Super Eagles players, who were the early arrivals at the Portimão camp, in a light training session.

 

 

Among the players who took part in the session were Francis Uzoho, Tyronne Ebuehi, Kenneth Omeruo, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Oluwasemilogo Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Chidozie Awaziem, Bruno Onyemeachi, Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika, Joe Aribo, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Umar Sadiq, Terem Moffi.

Kelechi Iheanacho, Frank Onyeka, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Olorunleke Ojo and Adeleye Adebayo are still expected.

Twenty-five players were invited for the friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique, but, three players pulled out due to varying injuries and were replaced.

Taiwo Awoniyi, Ola Aina and Jamilu Collins were replaced by Umar Sadiq, Tyronne Ebuehi and Chidozie Awaziem.
