Junior Ajayi and his Al Ahly teammates could likely be joined by South Africa international Percy Tau on a loan deal from Al Ahly.
Tau who joined Brighton from Mamelodi Sundowns in 2019, however the attacker has made only three league appearances for the Seagulls and could be off on his fourth loan spell.
According to Bafana Bafana head Coach Hugo Broos, the 27 year-old who is lacking in game time ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers could be on the move.
“He is an important player for the national team, If Percy does not play in the next months, I have a problem.
“But I heard some good news, I think he will not stay at Brighton and he will go to the Egyptian team with the South African coach, Pitso, Al Ahly.
“I think in the next few days it will be done and then he will have a chance to play, so there will be less of a problem for the future,” Broos stated.
