In a revelation that looks to clear his name, Paul Pogba, from the accusations of his brother Matthias, about wizardry and using black magic against his National teammates, the Senegalese witch doctor, alleged to have helped him has now spoken on the matter.
The doctor named Birame D, spoke to French outlet Le Parisien, in an hour long interview, where he attempted to quash reports that he really helped Paul Pogba to cast spells on teammates.
He said he was never hired to do such job for the Frenchman, and the rumors only went round because of the gullibility of fans who had nothing else to talk about.
Birame D also said it is rather pitiful that the rumors started with those who are supposedly close to the midfielder.
“This whole story of witchcraft is just a pure invention. Paul never asked me to cast a spell on Kylian Mbappe, neither for this PSG vs Manchester United match nor for any other occasion.
“The one and only time we spoke about Kylian was during a phone conversation during the 2018 World Cup,” Birame revealed.
“After the match against Argentina, I said to Paul: ‘it’s crazy how fast the little one is.’ Paul answered me with these words: ‘Kylian, it is a gift from God to have him with us, he relieves us so much, he does us so much good.”
