Paul Onuachu scored his first goal of the post season, coming off the bench in what was a four-goal thriller on Friday.
Onuachu who had scored 19 goals in 31 appearances in the regular season, well short of his tally last term, came on in the second half with KRC Genk trailing away from home against Sporting Charleroi.
The host had taken a first half lead through Ivorian striker Vakoun Bayo in the 45th minute and Charleroi hope of their first win in the Conference League playoff.
However, Onuachu was introduced after the break and though it took the Nigeria thirty-four minutes to impact the game, his goal sparked some verve in the Genk attack.
Four minutes later they got a second and it came through another substitute, Kristian Thorstvedt to turn the game around completely.
But there was to be some late drama in the game, when Charleroi fought their way back snatching a stoppage time equalizer.
It was their Ivorian star yet again, Bayo, scoring his second goal of the playoffs and help his side pick a point.
For Genk, they trail behind KAA Gent in the race for the ECL ticket with seven points from three games.
