Super Eagles team coordinator, Patrick Pascal, has called for calm among fans after the team’s 2-2 draw against Algeria’s B team.

Jose Peseiro’s men were forced to a draw in a tune up game against the CHAN team of Algeria, and it was an undesirable outcome for most fans.

In a chat with FL, Pascal believes there’s no cause for alarm as it was only a test game of little importance.

He said the game was played only to assess the players in the team and to carry out some experiments that would be helpful.

‘The CHAN teams can be more difficult than the main national teams sometimes, because most of the players have been very active this season playing continental football for their respective clubs. So, it is wrong to think they are push overs,’ Patrick Pascal explained.

‘The CHAN Algeria team players all play in good clubs, that compete well on the continent and that’s aside having a well run league in their country.

‘ What’s certain is that the Super Eagles match against the main team on Tuesday will be much different.’
