Anderson Esiti has expressed his delight after sealing a four-year deal with Greek Champions, PAOK Thessaloniki.
Esiti said, “I am really happy, it’s a good move for me, it is something that I have been hoping for for a long time now, it is the dream of every player to go up everyday and I’m really happy I have taken some steps upward and I thank God for it.”
PAOK confirmed Esiti’s capture via their website on Thursday.
“PAOK FC announces the signing of Anderson Esiti from KAA Gent. The Nigerian Midfielder has signed a contract until 2023 and will wear the number 24 on his shirt.”
The reigning Greek Champion were reported to have paid KAA Gent about 3.5 million Euros for the Nigeria international.
The 25 year-old, who featured two times for the Super Eagles under former coach Sunday Oliseh, made 30 appearances for the Belgian club in all competitions last season.
