Owumi explains why Ranger extend Ogunbote’s contract

The Rangers Management Corporation and Enugu state government have extended the contract of Aiteo Cup winning coach, Gbenga Ogunbote after the expiration his contract.

The General Manager of Rangers international, Davidson Owumi who made this known to footballlive.ng on Tuesday in Enugu state stated that the coach contract was extended for continuity reason as well as achievement in the just concluded season.

The former Enugu Rangers star who confirmed the contract extension adding that the state government after due consultation with the management of Rangers came to a conclusion to retain the coach for continuity and enhanced performance.

Coach Olugbenga Ogunbote has been given an extension to his contract at the club, Rangers International F.C.
