Osimhen wraps up pre-season with a goal in Napoli’s 4-0 win against Pescara

With Napoli drawn bye until the round of 16 in the Coppa Italia, Luciano Spalleti and his players continued pre-season with a friendly game against Serie C side Pescara.

Napoli easily dispatched their opponents 4-0, Victor Osimhen grabbing the opening goal just 9 minutes after the kick-off at the Patini Stadium.
Nine minutes later Lorenzo Insigne doubled the lead as Gli Azzurri went into the break two goals up.
Algerian’s Adam Ounas (48′) and Karim Zedadka (79′) rounded up the scoring as Spalletti figured out the bolts and screws ahead of the start of the Serie A campaign.
Osimhen was eventually subbed off in the second after seeing 68 minutes of action in another successful tune up game.
He has played in five of six pre-season games for the side and scored 8 goals including a brace in the 3-0 win against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
Napoli, on Saturday, will welcome newly promoted Venezia to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in their first game of the league.
Meanwhile, after 3 days of rest the squad will resume training later Today at the club’s training center.
