Roberto Calenda, the agent of Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen, has reversed his decision to pursue legal action against Napoli in the wake of a recent controversy involving mocking TikTok videos.

Osimhen was deeply upset by two viral TikTok videos. The first video made fun of his penalty miss against Bologna, while the second compared him to a coconut.

Napoli responded to the incident with an official statement issued on Thursday evening.

According to reports from Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Calenda has opted not to proceed with a lawsuit against Napoli following the release of their statement.

While Osimhen still has two years left on his contract with Napoli, the possibility of a contract extension appears increasingly unlikely, potentially paving the way for his departure within the next 12 months.
