Victor Osimhen has scooped the award for French Ligue 1 Player of the Month for September 2019.
Osimhen won the award ahead of Monaco and Algeria striker Islam Slimani and Nicolas Pallois of Nantes.
The Lille Forward garnered a total of 45% votes cast to place first, while Slimani and Pallois polled 37% and 18% respectively.

The Nigeria international scored twice and assisted twice for Lille in the month of September; with a total of seven goals in nine league appearances this term.
In the top five European Leagues, only Bayern Munich’s Lewandowski (11 goals), Manchester City’s Aguero and Chelsea’s Abraham (both with 8 goals) have more goals than the Nigerian in the early weeks of the season.
