It has been a difficult season for Victor Osimhen on account of his injuries and other health issues, but those challenges have hardly dimmed the verve he brings on the pitch.
Wearing a mask after a horrible facial injury late last year, Osimhen has gradually worked his way back to helping SSC Napoli compete this season.
On Monday he came off the bench in the Serie A match away at Cagliari and his impact was almost instantaneous.
Napoli trailer by a single goal heading into the final minutes of the game when the Nigerian scored a stunning header to bring the visitors level.
The game was his 16th appearance and his seventh goal of the campaign – just three from his total last season.
Meanwhile, Cagliari are one of his favorite opponents, he has scored three times against them in the league since his move from Lille at the end of 2019/20 season.
