In what has been a wonderful year for Super Eagles and Napoli hitman, Victor Osimhen, he has been honoured with yet another award, this time in Ghana, with the Best African International award at the 5th edition of the Ghana Football Awards.

The prestigious award was presented to Osimhen during the ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Center, recently.

In an impressive feat, Osimhen emerged victorious in a tough field which included, Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez.

Osimhen’s remarkable show contributed significantly to Napoli’s Serie A triumph last season, securing their first league title in over three decades.

The 24-year-old has been touted by many to claim the 2023 CAF Player of the Year award, but will face competition from Morocco and likely Algeria.
