Napoli boss, Rudi Garcia named Victor Osimhen in the match-day squad for the midweek clash against Udinese, despite the recent controversy surrounding now-deleted TikTok videos posted on the Club’s official accounts.
On Wednesday, videos online show Osimhen arriving at the team’s hotel, where he clearly refrained from exchanging pleasantries with two teammates.
In the footage, he only shook hands with team manager, Giuseppe Santoro before heading into the hotel.
Despite the evident tension, Napoli have not officially addressed the situation, and gone about their affairs as usual.
Osimhen’s dissatisfaction with the now deleted TikTok videos, posted Tuesday, is apparent, emphasized by a statement from his agent threatening legal action.
Additionally, the Nigerian has deleted all but one Napoli-related photos from his Instagram page.
Napoli currently sits 7th on the league table with only two wins from their first five games, and the Champions will aim to get their title defence back on track.
