Super Eagles duo Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman have been nominated for the the Italian Serie A player of the month award for their respective stellar performances in October.
Napoli and Atalanta are first and second position on the Serie A table and both Osimhen and Lookman were crucial to the forms of their respective teams.
Osimhen truly had a talismanic performance for the Azzurri last month, with 5 goals in 3 games to re-establish himself as the main man for Luciano Spalletti’s side.
Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman also had a brilliant campaign in October to fire his team behind only Napoli.
Lookman will fancy himself to win the award after a brilliant month that saw him net four goals in five games, but the Nigerians face stiff competition from Inter Milan’s midfielder Nicolas Barrela, AC Milan trickster Rafael Leao and Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić.
