Nigerian legend Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha has lauded young forward Victor Osimhen for his impressive season, and argues the Napoli star has not reached his full potentials.
In a chat with BBC, Okocha also charged the young Forward to consider a move to the English Premier League as it will be the Ultimate step in his career.
“He has done well, he is having a great season, and I think he deserves all the praises that he is getting,” Okocha said.
“I think the Ultimate for him is to play in the Premier League which he has made clear as well.
“We are following his progress and what he can achieve is limitless if he continues putting in the hard work as he has done so far.”
When asked to pick a team in the EPL for Osimhen, Okocha maintained that the young striker should pick a project that best suits his style of play and abilities.
“The Premier League is a league that improves players as well, and you just have to find the right club that suites your game to make things easier for yourself, without any doubt I think he is good enough to play in the Premier League.
“A team like Man City but they’ve got Haaland now, I think Man United as well might be ideal for him because they have been struggling with a quality striker in recent years; I think both Manchester teams might be good for him, Arsenal as well.”
