Former Chievo and Inter Milan striker, Obinna Nsofor has shed light on the significant accomplishment of Victor Osimhen with Napoli.

Nsofor insists that leading the Partenopei to the Scudetto elevates Osimhen to a status beyond renowned names like Edison Cavani, Gonzalo Higuaín, and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

“Napoli, with the help of Osimhen won the Serie A title, a trophy that has eluded them for over 30 years” the former Striker said on Brila FM’s Morning show “No Holds Barred”.

“A thing that Edison Cavani, with all the star-studded players that they had at that time, Lavezzi and so on, and Higuain and so on couldn’t do. But, Osimhen was able to achieve that kind of thing, with the players that they had.

“They have quality players, normal players but they are not that phenomenal. But kudos to the coach, the coach did a very fantastic job. He motivated the team the way he wants them to play.

“They achieved a historical thing; their names are forever printed in gold in Napoli.”
