Osimhen best in Europe – Carmine Esposito

Italian striker Carmine Esposito was full of praises for Victor Osimhen when he was asked to choose the better striker between the Nigerian and Belgian forward, Romelu Lukaku.

Esposito, 52, who played for Fiorentina, Empoli and Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A, believes that the difference is very clear, as he sees Victor Osimhen as the best in Italy and even in Europe.

He also claimed that Lukaku who is currently on loan with Inter Milan from Chelsea has been over used in the past years and is now burnt out.

“I have no doubts; always Osimhen… Lukaku has been squeezed a lot by now and is in a tired phase, but Osimhen is currently the top in Italy and in Europe,” Esposito said on Radio Punto Nuovo, via Area Napoli.

“Luciano is a master in making his forwards grow and exalt, then Osimhen is becoming a leader of this team,” Esposito concluded.

Osimhen has been sensational since the start of the season and has already scored 10 goals in all competitions, while Napoli are top of the Serie A and have booked a Round if 16 spot in the UEFA Champions League.
