Barcelona Forward Asisat Oshoala has signed a new 2-year contract extension which will keep her at the Club until 2024.
Oshoala joined Barcelona Femeni in 2019 on an initial loan offer from Chinese Women Super League side Dalian Quanjian before making the deal permanent.
The Forward has gone on to make 101 appearances for the team and scored 80 goals, already making her the sixth highest goalscorer in the team’s history.
Oshoala’s contract was announced on the club’s website with the attacker saying she’s decided to ‘stay at home’.
Currently the leading goalscorer in the Primera Iberdrola league with 16 goals in 19 games, the Nigerian insists she wants to keep going.
“I am very happy to continue with the world’s best team. Not just for the football, but because off the pitch they are also best at looking after players and helping them to continue improving,” said Oshoala.
