Oshoala Fires Blanks in Barcelona’s Slim Champions League Victory against Chelsea

Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala was introduced in the 83rd minute as Barcelona took a 1-0 lead in the first leg of their UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Norwegian, Caroline Hansen’s goal in the 4th minute gave the former Champions a vital advantage with the return leg coming up in Spain.

 

The Norwegian winger made her way in from the right side, skillfully maneuvering around the retreating defenders.

With an impressive shot from distance, beating goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger, who could only watch as the ball flew past.

Barcelona were able to hold on for the away win, but Oshoala was unable to do much to extend he team’s lead.
