Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel claimed his first trophy with Fenerbahçe after the Turkish giants recorded a 2-0 victory against Istanbul Basaksehir to win the 2023 Turkish Cup.

It was Fenerbahçe’s first Turkish Cup victory in ten years, with Belgium forward Michy Batshuayi scoring both goals in the first half.

Osayi-Samuel started the game from the bench and featured in the final 15 minutes.

The game could be his last for the Canaries, with speculations over transfer interests in England growing continuously.
