Having sealed qualification to the FIFA U20 World Cup, Ladan Bosso should resist the temptation of overhauling the team for the world cup tournament former Nigeria U20 star King Osanga has warned.
Osanga also revealed that players playing locally should be given preference during selection for the World Cup.
“At this age anybody that is playing abroad will definitely be playing in the academy, while our stars here in the under 20 bracket are playing topflight football, the boys here have been working tirelessly to get to where we are now,” Osanga told FL.
“So bring maybe one or two from abroad, but I believe in the talent we have back home. There is an advantage of playing competitive football, that will benefit the team at the world stage.
“Bosso should stick with what he has, the boys are doing extremely well, one or two addition is allowed but he should not make a complete overhaul at the World cup,” the Nasarawa United forward concluded.
