Ighodaro Osaguona continued his brilliant performance for Zob Ahan in the AFC Champions League on Monday.
The former Enugu Rangers, Shooting Stars, Raja Casablanca, Westerlo and Umm Salad striker scored a goal in the win over Al Wasl. He also provided two assists in the game.
Osaguona, 28, was involved in all the three goals netted by Zob Ahan at the Zabeel Stadium (Dubayy (Dubai)).
The hosts raced in front through Brazilian striker Caio who latched on to Ali Saleh’s assist in the 14th minute of action.
A well knitted pass from Hamid Maleki set up Osaguana for the leveller two minutes later.
In the 35th minute, the ex Rangers forward showed some flashes of brilliance and provided an assist for Arsalan Motahari who applied the finishing touch.
Hamid Bouhamdan made the game safe from another Osaguona assist four minutes from time. 3-1 it ended in Dubai.
With the result, Zob Ahan are on top of Group A with seven points from three games.
