Super Falcons attacker Francesca Ordega has won the the 2022 Russian Women’s Cup with PFC CSKA Moscow.
CSKA came up against League Champions Zenit St. Petersburg in the final and beat their rivals 2-0 away from home, thanks to goals from Margarita Chernomyrdina, and Anastasia Pozdeeva.
The victory ended Zenith’s five games unbeaten run against CSKA Moscow spanning over a year, it’s also Francesca Ordega’s first club career cup.
CSKA Moscow finished three points behind Zenit St. Petersburg to finish second in the Russian League and the striker contributed seven goals to aid her team’s quest.
