Victor Osimhen could not help his side avoid defeat and fired blank as Lille OSC lost 1-0 away to Amiens in the French Ligue 1.

Sehrou Guirassy scored the only goal of the game in the 70th minute and his solitary effort was enough to condemn Osimhen and team to their first league defeat.

The forward was on for the entire duration, but Lille also played with 10 men for over 51 minutes after the Referee showed midfielder Boubakary Soumare a straight red in the 39th minute.

Elsewhere, new Monaco signing Henry Onyekuru tasted defeat in his very first game for the team.

He was handed a starting role in his debut, but Monaco crumbled to a 3-0 defeat away to Metz.

He was substituted in the 70th minute for Gil Dias.
