Onyeka’s Brentford takes a beating….Nwaneri makes Arsenal, PL history

Frank Onyeka was a substitute in Brentford’s home game against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, but the Nigerian was on the losing side and yet witnessed a historic moment made.

Onyeka came on as a 63rd minute substitute – with Brentford trailing 3 nil – but the biggest substitution that afternoon was the introduction Ethan Nwaneri for the Gunners.

At 15 years and 181 days, the midfielder became not only Arsenal but the English Top flight’s youngest ever player – he had just one touch.

The youngster only came to close out the game, as Arsenal had already sealed the win before the hour mark.

Goals from William Saliba (17′), Gabriel Jesus ( 28′) and Fabio Vieira (49′) saw Mikel Arteta’s side cruise to their sixth win of the PL season.
