Frank Onyeka picked up a first half yellow card and got just under an hour of football on Tuesday night as Brentford secured their passage through to the third round of the League Cup.

Onyeka was handed a starter’s place for the first time this season, but there’s doubt of he impressed manager Frank Thomas much out there at the Colchester Community Stadium.
The midfielder made way for Iran’s Saman Ghoddos just 10 minutes into the second half.
Meanwhile, Brentford made their class count and were up 1-0 in the first half courtesy a Keane Lewis-Potter goal in the 39th minute.
The Bees wrapped up the win in stoppage time when Ivan Toney set up loan returnee, Mads Bech Sorensen for his first goal of the season.
