Paul Onuachu made it three in three consecutive games in the Belgium top Flight for KRC Genk.

Genk defeated Leuven 1-0 to remain top of the Belgium Jupiler Pro League after 12 games.

It’s also now five victories on the bounce for the Smurfs, but last weekend’s win wasn’t a straightforward affair.

A penalty was awarded against Genk just seven minutes in, but Sofian Kiyine missed the kick which would have put Leuven lead.

Subsequently, Genk began to take control of the game and in the 16th Minute Onuachu scored his 4th goal in 3 games for Genk to put them ahead from a Mike Tresor assist.

Angelo Preciado was shown a straight red card for Genk before the end of the first st half but Genk held on to take all three points from the encounter.
