Amid speculation about a potential transfer, Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu returned to Southampton for pre-season training on Wednesday.

Southampton players resumed at the Staplewood Campus for their first training session in preparation for the upcoming season.

Onuachu actively participated in the session, from start to finish.

After Southampton’s relegation last season, there have been speculations about the future of the Striker.

The 29-year-old Nigerian forward joined Southampton in January from KRC Genk in the Belgian Pro League.

Reports claim that Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach and VFB Stuttgart have shown interest in acquiring Onuachu’s services, however, nothing official is on the table for the Forward yet.
