Paul Onuachu got minutes off the bench in KRC Gent’s home win against Cercle Brugge as he regains his form following a mild injury spell.
Onuachu was a second half substitute, brought on in the final 20 minutes of the game with Genk already ahead 2-1.
The Cegeka Arena hero picked up a yellow card coming off the bench, but is yet to register a goal or assist.
At the weekend, the fans cheered Bryan Heynen, who scored both goals, his first in the 41st minute and the second from the penalty spot in the 57th minute.
The win moved Genk to the top of the table, tied on points (12) with Royal Antwerp who have a game in hand.
