Paul Onuachu made an impressive start to life in Turkey, scoring a goal for his new club Trabzonspor in a 3-0 victory over Besiktas.

Onuachu, who is on loan from Southampton, found the back of the net after half an hour of play, heading home a cross from the left flank.

This marked his first goal since January 2023, he endured a torrid time in England after a failed transfer to Southampton FC from KRC Genk.

Trabzonspor’s comfortable win has propelled them to fourth place in the league standings with nine points from five matches.
