FC Midtjylland of Denmark striker, Paul Onuachu is excited that he got his debut with the Super Eagles against Seychelles, and promised to always give his very best anytime he is called upon to play for Nigeria.
Footballlive.ng reports that Onuachu is staying humble, after gaining lofty words from Eagles’ coach, Gernot Rohr, who sent him on the second half of Friday’s clash in place of Oghenekaro Etebo.
In reaction to his historic day in green-and-white, the towering fast-rising star says he has a long and glorious journey ahead of him with the Nigerian national team.
Onuchu enthused: ‘I’m happy to finally get my first match witrh the Super Eagles.
“It’s something I cherish very much, and I believe it is the bigger of more matches that I wll still play and win for Nigeria.”
