Super Falcons, CB Onome Ebi says the team’s.main objective at the forthcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup is to reach the last four.

Ebi, however, revealed the Super Falcons aren’t dismissing a shot at becoming the first African team to win the World Cup.

Speaking with FL, the defender claims the team has been getting all the necessary support to ensure that they better their quarter-final finish at the 1999 Women’s World Cup.

“The dream is to win it, to touch it and to bring it to Nigeria, the target is to get to the last four of the competition, which we are working on.

“he federation is helping us to achieve that, and the technical crew are doing their part, Nigerians are doing their part, and I believe with everyone coming together to do their part, I think it is possible for us to grab the trophy.”

Onome Ebi also addressed the question of her retirement.

“I don’t understand why people continually ask me when I want to retire when they did not ask me when I was about to start.

“I started this myself, and I am the one who knows when I want to retire, so everyone should continue watching and praying, as far as I am still giving good performances for you guys, you all should continue to pray for me, when it is time for me to retire, you will see that I have.”
