Onome Ebi Reveals Falcons’ Gratitude To Pinnick

Super Falcons’ alternate captain, Onome Ebi has revealed the gratitude she and other players in the female national team have for the president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick.

 

Footballive.ng can report that Ebi and other players in the Falcons’ squad are delighted with the role played by Pinnick in ensuring that all their financial entitlements and other needs for the African Women Cup of Nations were settled by the soccer governing body.

 

Ebi said Friday that she and her colleagues are grateful to Pinnick and the enter NFF for fulfilling all promises before and during the 11th AWCON in Ghana, where they emerged triumphant to third successive time and ninth time overall, returning home with the glittering trophy.

She confirmed that the Falcons have received their pre-AWCON camp allowances, match bonuses and dues at the competition, plus $10,000 per player promise by Pinnick.

Speaking before the Falcons’ contingent left camp, yet await word on a planned reception by President Muhammadu Buhari, Ebi thanked the NFF for their welfare packages and fulfilling all financial obligations.

Ebi said: “I just want to say a very big thank you to the NFF President, Mr. Amaju Pinnick, the Board members and the Management and Staff for fulfilling their promises and paying all our bonuses.

“Including the special winning bonus that the President promised us for the final, all have been paid. I also want to thank Nigerians for their love and support.”
