Nigeria midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has blamed his spate of injuries on the national team and alluded that Gernot Rohr didn’t show concern towards his state.
Onazi, who got invited on standby to the Super Eagles ahead of Nigeria’s World Cup playoffs against Ghana, said he faced a tough time with his injuries.
The midfielder has been out of the national team since 2018, but has also struggled at club level moving to Lithuania, Denmark and even the lower division in Saudi Arabia.
He revealed that there were several administrative battles that also hindered his return, in his interview on Omasports TV.
Onazi then and beckoned on the football fraternity to ‘rub each other’s backs’ than stay docile.
