Andre Onana has left Cameroon’s World Cup camp after a dispute with head Coach Rigobert Song ahead of the team’s crucial second group game against Serbia, Monday.

Onana’s fall out with the Cameroon Coach was over a tactical decision, and FL gathered no official statement has been offered yet however.

The Legendary former Player turned coach, Song, instructed the 26 year-old to play more direct and avoid playing out from the back against pressing teams.

Meanwhile, Cameroon will now rest their hopes on Saudi Arabia-based Devis Epassy between the sticks.

Epassy had earned 5 caps prior and was first choice in the first four games for the Indomitable Lions in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

In the first half of the game at the Al Janoub Stadium, Cameroon trailed 2-1, despite going ahead first through Jean-Charles Castelletto (29′).

Serbia responded with a quick double in stoppage time, Strahinja Pavlovic (45+1′) and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (45+3′) turned the game around completely, before the break.
