After a hard fought win against Levante in the Spanish La Liga on Monday night, Nigerian international Kenneth Omeruo has wished his national team counterpart Moses Simon the best when his team squares up against Villarreal that has another Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze this weekend.
Leganes triumphed over Levante by a goal to nil at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque with Oscar Rodriquez scoring the only goal of the match in the 13th minute.
Reacting to the win, the Nigerian international noted that it was a difficult game but he is delighted they won. He also praised Moses Simon for the effort he put into the game. “Well fought victory against a good side. Vamos Leganés and a great game from my bro @m_simon27 good luck against Samuel Chukueze’s Villarreal next week.”
Levante will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they face 18th placed Villarreal on Sunday while Omeruo’s Leganes will face Atletico Madrid away from home at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
