Close Confidant of Kenneth Omeruo as told footballlive.ng that the defender is on the verge of sealing a loan move to last season’s relegation escapee with the Transfer expected to be completed by Friday.
The friend in speaking to www.footballlive.ng said, “Kenneth arrived in Madrid on Tuesday and hopefully before Friday, he would complete his medical as the transfer is imminent.”
He however hinted that the loan move to Leganes seemed the best offer especially as it would guarantee regular playing time which at this point in his career is the most important thing.
On playing in the Spanish La Liga, the friend said, “Playing in the Spanish league is a big plus for him as the league remains the best in the World. I just hope he has a slepdid time in Spain and that the team performs better than they did last season.”
Leganes narrowly escaped relegation last season but the Super Eagles defender would be hoping his wealth of experience From playing previously in Holland, England and Turkey would help the team to a much higher position on the logs this season if the imminent transfer becomes official.
